Eight Seats is a game about running a sushi restaurant. It doesn't need to know anything about you, so it doesn't ask, and it doesn't send anything anywhere.

Saved in your browser
The game keeps your restaurant in this browser's local storage so you can pick up where you left off: the day, your cash and loans, the fish and pantry, the menu and prices, the crew, your equipment, your skill at the board, reviews and every night's books. It also remembers your sound and graphics settings. None of it leaves your device, and we can't see it. To clear it, open a new restaurant from the menu, or clear this site's data in your browser's settings.
What we don't do
There's no analytics, no advertising, no chat, and no way to send messages or upload anything. The music and sounds are made in your browser as you play; nothing is recorded.
Fonts and hosting
The lettering comes from Google Fonts, which sees your internet address when it sends the font files. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which, like any web host, handles the requests your browser makes to load the page.
